Arda Energy announces its new CEO
Norwegian clean tech start-up Arda Energy today announces the hiring of the company’s new CEO, Bjørgulf Haukelidsæter Eidesen, starting 1 July 2025.
After having been through a pilot and qualification phase for Arda Energy’s green hydrogen technology based upon biogas feedstock, namely the Arda SparkTM, the clean tech start-up is now ready to move into its scale-up phase for international growth and expansion with its new CEO on board.

Under Eidesen’s leadership, Arda Energy will launch the Arda SparkTM product, prepare for and execute the market launch of the Arda LightTM product and scale operations internationally. The Arda green hydrogen technology product series will be offered to biogas and hydrogen developers set on producing green hydrogen to its customers in an affordable manner. Market launch details across key regions will be announced in the near future.

The new CEO of Arda Energy, Mr. Eidesen, was the founder and CEO of Horisont Energi over the last six years, where he built an international clean ammonia and CCS company, taking Horisont Energi through its Seed, Series A and Series B funding rounds.
Since its inception in 2016 the clean tech start-up Arda Energy has been cost focused, innovative and lean, and this will continue to be the spirit of the clean tech start-up going forward with Mr. Eidesen as CEO. With the innovative Arda SparkTM and Arda LightTM products, the clean tech start-up is solving one of hydrogen’s most fundamental problems, i.e. how to make green hydrogen affordable.
